The grasp of growth

While assembling a collage from magazine clippings the red immediately led me to something resembling a dripping heart. I happened to be going through a difficult phase of heartache at the time & fully leaned into it. The analog collage I never finalized on paper sits in my closet but after emerging from that period of growth I decided to complete the work in new form as a reminder of how far I've come.
